Potential Eagles 2020 Draft Gems, Episode 6: Brody Grantham

With the decline of Nigel Bradham, the Philadelphia Eagles should look to get younger in the linebacker core. They should look towards Sioux Falls for a steal of a player.

Meet Brody Grantham: the 6’1 235-pound out of the NSIC. Brody is a very athletic linebacker, who can cover and fly from side-line to side-line making plays. A two-time All-NSIC selection, three-time Academic All-NSIC honors, he played in 38 games playing MLB and WLB, racking up 178 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 3 fumble recoveries.

He would be a great addition to the linebacking core that has good but not great depth. He would be a good replacement if Philly looks to get out of the Nigel Bradham contract. He would be able to make the team as a special teamer and be groomed into the next one up.

The Eagles are used to taking smaller school players at linebacker, such as Alex Singleton (Montana State) and Kamu Grugier-Hill (Eastern Illinois). Brody would be a UDFA after this year’s draft. I think that he would be a good pick up for the Eagles in the pre-season
