Justin Jefferson: An Underrated Draft Prospect

Justin Jefferson’s name is quickly heating up with the draft less than 2 months away after a stellar combine. After running a 4.43 40-yard dash, having a 37.5-inch vert, and jumping a 10-foot-6-inch broad jump he surely dominated the combine. He finished above the 75th-percentile which should cause his draft stock to increase but not higher than the Eagles’ 21st overall pick. Jefferson had 111 receptions, 1,540 yards, and 18 touchdowns this year while cementing himself as a mostly possession receiver. This was before he proved at the combine that he has speed, which is a huge plus for Jefferson and any team who gets him. He is not only a great possession receiver but an all around very good talent. The Eagles have lacked both speed and consistent catching ability at the wide receiver position and with Jefferson providing both, he could be an underrated prospect the Eagles need to play at a high level during the 2020 season.
