Philadelphia Eagles versus the Dallas Cowboys: a classic rivalry of the NFC East. The Eagles clinched the NFC East with the win against the New York Giants. The Dallas Cowboys were not able to get offense nor defense moving last Sunday against the Washington Football Team. With Dak Prescott and Andy Dalton out for the Cowboys, I don’t think anyone can expect much from the Cowboys but running. But things aren’t much better for the Eagles either, with Alshon Jeffery, Miles Sanders, Lane Johnson, and Zach Ertz out for week 8, we cannot expect much with their offense either, and all those injuries were just on offense! The Eagles defense has quite a bit of injuries on their defense as well, such as K’von Wallace, Vinney Curry, and Cre’von LeBlanc. The Cowboys defense is rated the worst on lineups.com. But just as much, the Philadelphia Eagles defense is also not doing well. Now, let’s talk about offense. As we have already went over, both the Eagles and Cowboys have a lot of injuries, but the Cowboys have their 3rd string quarterback starting, while Carson Wentz is still completely healthy as well as Jalen Reagor, Desean Jackson, and Jason Kelce, all very important pieces of the Eagles offense. Can the Eagles pull away this win against the Cowboys, or will they choke it? I guess we will find out tonight at 8:20 PM EST, I’m Harrison Epley, thank you for reading my article, and I will see you next time. FLY EAGLES FLY!

Was Jalen Reagor Worth a First Rounder?
Jalen Reagor, a former TCU Horned Frog, was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 21st pick of the 2020 NFL draft. The Eagles had selected Reagor becuase Ceedee Lamb, a former Oklahoma Sooner, was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. It is no doubt that Jalen Reagor is a very good wide reciever, but was he worth the Eagles first round pick? The Philadelphia Eagles were in desperate need of a wide reciever, since all of the starters are getting injured left and right, but Reagor most likely could have waited until the 2nd round. The Eagles were also in need of linebackers, a new defensive lineman, and like I said, wide recievers. The Eagles could have snagged Patrick Queen, former LSU Tiger, in the first round, but let him go and let the Baltimore Ravens have him with the 28th pick. For the defensive lineman? The Eagles could have had Justin Madubuike, rated third best overall in defensive tackles in the 2020 NFL draft, but Madubuike was drafted to the Baltimore Ravens with the 71st overall pick. And now for the wide recievers, Jalen Reagor may not be the ground they need to kickstart this position. Reagor has proved himself in college but can he prove himself in the NFL? Will Reagor be a draft bust or will he be the best decision that Philadelphia has made in the draft? We will hopefully see on September 13th, at 1:00 PM ET, against the Washington Football Team. I’m Harrison Epley and thank you for reading my article today, I’ll see you next time on my next article.
What is the impact of having no fans in the stadiums?
The NFL, due to Covid-19 have cancelled the fans from coming into the stadiums, just as any other sports leauge. But does everyone really understand what impact it will have. Almost all of the players have noted that that will certainly affect they way they play. Carson Wentz knows how weird it would be to play without fans. “It would be really weird, I’ll tell you that,” he told NBC Sports reporter, “playing at NDSU, we had some road games now and then that we played in front of just a couple fans. So I kind of know the feeling probably more than some.” But most players knew that because it will be affecting them mentally, it would affect them physically, it will take away the home field advantage. What could the players do to prevent this? They could not let the fact of no fans get into their heads or not want to play because of no fans. A couple players have already opted out due to not having fans. The NFL in this fact, I believe, have made a good decision, although they could have limited the fans allowed in a stadium, and hired people to clean it. But at the end of the day, they are following good guidelines and are practicing good habits for this season. What does Big Ten cancelling the football season mean for the NFL?
As you may know the Big 10 college football leauge canceled the football season, so what will this mean for the NFL and possibly the Philadelphia Eagles? President Donald J. Trump advised to NOT cancel the football season, but Big 10 still felt safe cancelling the season. But cancelling the season is not just a let-down for Big 10 fans, this could also stop college football’s biggest names from the NFL and the Eagles. Players like Trevor Lawrence of Clemson and Justin Fields of Ohio State will not be able to make it to the big stage. But this will possibly impact the Philadelphia Eagles just as hard as any other team. They will not have the position they need or the best prospect that fits them. They could obviously go to leauges as Big 12, but will no longer have the best of the best prospects that fit their team. Teams that need quarterbacks such as the Washington Football Team will not have the best quarterbacks they need for next years draft. These are the things that teams can do to make their draft go well: Improvise, make the best of their players now, and pick carefully among the lower divisions of college football. Will Carson Wentz be Injured Again?
Carson Wentz was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016 and has been injured every season ever since. As the Eagles seem to have proved themselves this season, Wentz still fell behind and was injured by Jadeveon Clowney. But, Doug Pederson said that Carson could be seeing a big playoff run this year. And as Wentz keeps getting more momentum each season we could be seeing a big season for him. But the big question is ‘will we see a big season for Wentz?’ or ‘will we see a terrible, let-down season?’ I believe that the Eagles will make a big playoff run, and a HUGE combeack by Wentz. Wentz will be able to prove himself and make playoffs, he will take the Eagles to the playoffs and hopefully play a healthy season. The Eagles will also prove themself with Fletcher Cox, Jalen Reagor, DeSean Jackson, and Miles Sanders. Thank you for reading my article today, if you have any thoughts please comment them.
